Day 59 - Exploding Star
The fourth day manipulating this swarming, radiating base code. I love seeing all the different possibilities you can get in a drawing just by making small tweaks to the program. Today, I’ve replaced lines with rectangles. Things got a bit seizure-inducing as I messed with this one, but I like where it landed. I didn’t want it to feel too splattery or too perfectly round, I think I found a nice balance.
The colour palette was inspired by the beautiful work of Copenhagen based illustrator, Carmen Law.
